What does a typical class look like?

  • We start with a Warm-Up which includes ice breakers, basic topics, and other interactive activities to reinforce prior learning and conversation. Then move into our Main Topic lesson  where children will learn through various methods such as: flashcards, games, role-playing, crafts and storytelling. We end with a Wrap-Up where we reinforce the key points and vocabulary we learned during class.

What is the student to teacher ratio?

  • 15:1

How do you approach teaching children of different ages and academic levels within the same group?

  • We design our activities with all ages in mind to ensure that every student is engaged and challenged appropriately. For example, during a flashcard vocabulary game, younger students might focus on recognizing and saying the word aloud, while older students might be asked to use the word in a full sentence or spell it correctly. This layered approach allows all students to participate together while still addressing their different developmental levels. In some cases, we may also split the group for short periods to tailor the activity more closely to each age group’s needs.

Are assessments given?

  • Informal assessments are conducted during activities to gauge understanding.

How can parents support the students?

  • We provide weekly progress update emails to parents that include links and supplementary materials.
